Candidates progressing through the Netherlands nursing pathway may formally authorise Hexallt Enterprises to act as their intermediary for the recognition of their foreign nursing qualification as Verzorgende IG (VIG).
CIBG has confirmed that Hexallt Enterprises may act as an intermediary for Indian VIG candidates and that candidates may authorise Hexallt to coordinate their applications and correspondence with CIBG.
The candidate remains the applicant. Hexallt coordinates the recognition process within the scope of the authorisation, while the assessment and recognition decision remain entirely with CIBG and the competent Dutch authorities.
Through the official authorisation process, the candidate gives Hexallt permission to act as an intermediary for the relevant VIG recognition application.
This enables Hexallt to prepare and organise the recognition dossier, coordinate the application with CIBG, manage application-related communication, follow up on documentation requirements and support the candidate through the recognition process.
CIBG has specifically confirmed that candidates may authorise Hexallt to coordinate both their applications and correspondence. The recognition procedure itself is conducted in Dutch.
BIG-register — Information for Intermediaries
Each candidate who chooses authorised coordination must complete and sign the official BIG-register Authorisation Form — Machtigingsformulier.

The guide will include images of the official form, guidance on completing the relevant fields, information regarding the CIBG case-number field and a link to the official government source of the form.
Hexallt will guide the candidate through completion of the authorisation as part of the VIG recognition documentation process.
A candidate always has the option to apply directly for recognition.
BIG-register also provides individual applicants with consultation appointments during which they can ask questions about their application or required documents and have documents looked at before submitting. (BIG Register)
The difference with authorised coordination through Hexallt is that the candidate does not have to prepare, organise and manage this pre-submission process independently.
CIBG has specifically confirmed to Hexallt that, as an intermediary, Hexallt can arrange an appointment with its recognition team before submission to determine whether the candidate's documents are complete and correct.

BIG-register advises candidates to wait until the required documentation is complete before submitting an application. When applying independently, the candidate is responsible for understanding the documentation requirements, preparing the dossier, arranging any consultation with CIBG, presenting the relevant documents or questions, interpreting the feedback and making the necessary corrections.
With authorised coordination, Hexallt manages this process with the candidate.
The practical advantage is therefore not simply that Hexallt can communicate with CIBG.
It is that the candidate's recognition dossier can be prepared by Hexallt, cross-checked with CIBG before formal submission, corrected where necessary and then submitted in a more complete and properly structured form.
This additional scrutiny can help reduce avoidable delays caused by missing or incorrectly prepared documentation.
The pre-submission cross-check does not guarantee recognition or a particular processing time. The recognition requirements and assessment remain exactly the same.
Once the candidate has authorised Hexallt, Hexallt can coordinate the application and related correspondence with CIBG.
CIBG has confirmed both the intermediary arrangement and Hexallt's ability to coordinate candidate correspondence.
Where CIBG requests additional documentation, clarification, correction or further action, Hexallt can coordinate the requirement with the candidate and support the appropriate response.
The candidate continues to be informed about documents or actions required from them throughout the process.
Authorisation allows Hexallt to coordinate the recognition process, but the candidate remains responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of the information and documents provided.
Candidates must provide genuine and complete educational, identification, professional and registration documentation and cooperate in obtaining documents from universities, nursing councils or other issuing authorities where required.
Where a form or declaration requires the candidate's signature or personal confirmation, the candidate remains responsible for completing that requirement.
Hexallt acts as the candidate's authorised intermediary and recognition-process coordinator.
Hexallt does not determine whether a qualification will be recognised, grant VIG recognition, issue professional recognition decisions, alter CIBG's assessment requirements, control regulatory processing times or guarantee approval.
The professional assessment and final recognition decision remain entirely with CIBG and the competent Dutch authorities.

Candidates are not required to use Hexallt as an intermediary in order to apply for recognition.
An individual applicant can prepare and submit their own application and can contact BIG-register or arrange a consultation regarding their documents. The advantage of authorised coordination is that Hexallt takes responsibility for structuring and coordinating these preparatory steps with the candidate, including the available pre-submission cross-check with CIBG, rather than leaving the candidate to manage the recognition process independently.
Authorisation does not guarantee recognition and does not change the regulatory requirements applicable to the candidate.
Authorised coordination creates a more structured route through the VIG recognition process.
Its central practical advantage is the opportunity to prepare the candidate's recognition dossier and cross-check its completeness and correctness with CIBG before formal submission. CIBG has expressly confirmed this arrangement for Hexallt's intermediary process.
Where issues are identified, they can be addressed before the dossier enters formal processing.
The purpose is not to change the recognition requirements or influence the recognition decision. It is to help the candidate enter the formal process with a better-prepared, more complete and properly coordinated application.
